F.A.Q

Q: Can mattress cleaning cure my allergy?
Mite Alert
A:
No, it doesn’t offer a cure for your allergy, but it will help to reduce the frequency and severity of it. A lot of our customers have found that their particular allergy disappears altogether after getting their mattress cleaned by Clean Sleep and as about 85% of asthmatics are allergic to House Dust Mite droppings, the chances of us helping an asthma sufferer is very high.

Q. How often should I have my mattress professionally cleaned?

A. Firstly, after taking a sample from your mattress, we can perform an allergen test to scientifically identify the level of allergen present. Based on this result and the amount of dust and dirt removed during this test clean, we can then recommend a proper cleaning schedule based on your individual needs.

Q. What are the free tests you talk about?

A. We are able to fit a test cloth to our system which will gather a sample of your mattress contents. Once gathered we can then test the strength of the allergens in the dust using out test kit.

Q. Does the mattress have to be removed from the frame? clean Sleep

A.
Apart from when we turn it over to treat the other side it can remain in the frame.

Q. Are allergy preventing mattress covers worthwhile?

A.
These covers should only be used on mattresses that are new or have been cleaned and sanitised  otherwise the enclosed mattress may act like an incubator allowing bacteria, mould and fungus growth to increase at an alarming rate. It is also recommended that these covers be washed weekly.

Q. What do I need to do before you treat my mattress?

A. Please remove all bed linen and mattress covers, and as a precaution we recommend you  move any fragile items away from the surrounding bed area

Q: How long after you’ve finished do we have to wait before we can make the bed and go to sleep?

A:
Between 20-30 minutes. You only need to wait for the plant based spray we mist the bed with to evaporate off and after this you can then make the bed and go straight to sleep.

Q. Does the mattress age matter?

A. Researches have proved that a mattress which is 6 months old can contain as many dust mites and dust as a mattress which is 5 years old.

Q: Does your cleaning process make a mattress look as good as new by removing all stains?

A: Old stains on a mattress are almost impossible to be removed from the fabric, due to age, body heat and also the nature of the stain, what our mattress cleaning system does is to hygienically sanitise and neutralize all stains, which some will appear to be much lighter in appearance and fresh smelling after our process is completed.
